An ecological and social conscience

At the Manoir de la Manantie, respect for the environment is a way of life.

Granddaughter of a farmer and having lived many years abroad, respect for my environment has always been a priority.

Thus, I make it a point of honor to maintain the guest house with environmentally friendly products, all of which are eco-labelled. Baking soda and white vinegar are my two housekeeping sidekicks!

We are in a zero waste approach and we favor small local producers to reduce the carbon footprint and to support the local economic and social fabric.

By establishing ourselves in a rural area, we wanted to help support other people, local businesses, farmers and local artisans.

From the start of our activity, we have chosen to be accompanied and certified by the Green Key , a European label for sustainable tourism.It was important for us not only to announce an approach like many establishments that are surfing on the theme, but to have an external evaluation by an approved body. We are for sustainable and healthy development.
